Yongquan Wang is a post 80s designer toy icon from Beijing and a former independent animator and game designer. In 2019, he founded the brand YOYO, centered around a round cheeked, pumpkin headed character created to bring comfort and ease urban anxiety. As MINISO's exclusive flagship collaboration artist, he demonstrates how a gentle, heartwarming art style can achieve outstanding commercial success. Built around themes of companionship and everyday joy, YOYO has since appeared at Paris Fashion Week and New York's World Trade Center. Now it's here at MINISO Iceland.
